Faszination Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . Mecklenburg-Vorpommern hat insgesamt eine Küstenlänge von etwa 1700 km und damit die längste Küste aller deutschen Bundesländer. Den Großteil davon nimmt die Vorpommersche Bodden- und Haffküste ein. Die Außenküste ist ca. 350 km lang. Die Küste ist besonders im östlichen Teil (Vorpommern) stark gegliedert. Die größten Inseln sind Rügen, Usedom, Poel sowie Hiddensee. Wichtigste Halbinsel ist die Halbinsel Fischland-Darß-Zingst.
